First washing and Treatment after the laying

Pay the maximum attention during the laying to avoid staining the material; when a basic washing is needed absolutely avoid the use of products containing strong acids, even if diluted.

It is better to avoid also the use of alkaline cleaners, strong diluents, paint removing agents and buffered acids.

We suggest to remove dry dirt using a broom and to perform the initial washing with a grease remover typeFILA PS 87 (by FILA), diluted 1:5 with water; after that, sweep up the solution using cloths or a liquid-vacuum.

When the surface is clean and dry lay on an anti-stain, water-oil-repellent protection, type FILAFOB (by FILA) than can be applied using a roller or a flash brush. We suggest to perform always protective treatments if floorings are used for snack-bars, restaurants and kitchens to prevent them from being damaged by stains of oils or other similar products.

For further protection, renovation and polishing of the floors with polished finishing, you may lay on a finishing wax such as FILACLASSIC (by FILA) with a brush or a cloth or a rotating disk.

Wax shall be applied when the flooring is completely dry, at least 8 hours after washing.

On the contrary, for the ordinary cleaning of the surfaces we suggest to use the neutral cleaner FILACLEANER diluted in water; rinse often the cloth into the cleaning solution wringing it out. Let the floor dry without any further rinsing.

HOW TO MANAGE AND STORE MATERIAL

If possible, try not to leave the material outdoor in order to avoid damages to pavements packagings, breaking of tiles’ angles or any other inconvenient that might be accidentally caused by third parties.

Before the first laying of the pavement check that the product is free from defects. Should you notice any, do not go ahed with the laying, but inform inmmediately the manufacturing Company.
