Raised pavement or floating pavement is a type of flooring very simple and practical which originates from the necessity to design spaces without aesthetic and plant bonds.
The structure of a raised pavement consists of Supporting Elements having adjustable height or fixed elements on which Cave Bonomi® tiles are be based.
This structure creates a “technical space” where wiring cables, pipes and any other service can be hosted.
On balconies raised pavements have another important function. They protect the waterproof layer against atmospheric agents by creating an air space that contributes to covering’s insulation and water’s drainage.
Adjustable supporting elements are made in polypropylene and have a very high peak load resistance (over 400 Kg/each). They are available in a wide range of height from 1,5 to 22 cm. |
